Update: Ohiare Urges Youths To Support President-Elect Tinubu

Dr Sanusi Ohiare, An All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate hopeful in the Kogi State governorship election, has pleaded with Nigerian youths to give the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, their unwavering support.

Ohiare disclosed this while congratulating Tinubu and his running mate on the historic victory at the just concluded presidential elections in Nigeria.

“This election was unprecedented. Nigerians, especially youths, turned out in their numbers to vote for their candidates. Worthy of note is the fight put up by the Labour Party candidate, Mr Peter Obi – a new and last-minute entrant into the race – whose candidacy was driven largely by a youth movement and [who] emerged in third position,” Ohiare stated. Speaking further, the governorship aspirant thanked many for speaking up so loudly through their protest votes.

“I am confident our President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has what it takes to carry us along, whether or not he had your vote,” he said.

Advising young people, Ohiare encouraged youths to give the President-elect their support in order to heal our sharply divided and bitter polity.

“I also call on our President-Elect to close ranks with Mr Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar towards finding a common ground for onward movement, remembering that we only have Nigeria as our country, which we all love so dearly,” he advised.
