THE Senate has screened and confirmed the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria ( CJN) , Justice Olukayode Ariwoola. as the substance CJN.
The confirmation of Ariwoola as CJN was continuation of his responding to of inquiries posed to by the Representatives and he was approached to soak up the adoration at 12.45pm.
Recall that the Senate had on July 26th, 2022 got a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari that looked for the screening and ensuing affirmation of Equity Olukayade Ariwoola who is by and by in acting limit as the Main Equity of Nigeria (CJN) to be a considerable one.

Justice Ariwoola’s appointment as CJN by President Buhari was sequel to the resignation of former Chief Justice Muhammad Tanko on 27th June, 2022.
Tanko’s resignation was against the setting of a dissent by 14 distressed Judges over issues of government assistance.
